1. Who are we? Academia Now is a learning platform where students can practice at their own pace with instructional videos, practice tests, and smart quizzes. We are located in the Netherlands and can be reached at info@academianow.nl .

2. What data do we collect and why?

Account details When creating your account we ask:

• First and last name

• Email address

• Password

• Date of birth

• School level (e.g. vmbo, havo, vwo)

• School year

We use this information to help you log in and ensure our content is tailored to your level. This way, you'll see the exact tutorial videos and practice tests that are relevant to your subjects.

Practice data We keep track of:

• Which subjects you practice

• How long you practice

• What your results are

With this information we can show you your personal progress and help you focus on what still needs extra attention.

Educational data We also ask about:

• The type of education you are following (for example in the Netherlands or Belgium)

• Your method (such as Feniks or De Geo)

This way we can prepare the right chapters and topics for you.

Payment details If you subscribe to a paid plan, we'll only use your payment information to process the payment. You can pay via iDEAL, credit card, or Bancontact. We use secure payment systems.

3. What do we do with your data?

• We show you content that matches your textbook and level

• We track your progress

• We improve our platform based on usage

• We will sometimes send you an email with a progress report or relevant tips (you can unsubscribe at any time)

4. How long do we retain your data? We retain your account information for as long as you remain active on our platform. If you stop, we delete your information after one year. We retain some information for a little longer, for example, to provide you with offers (you can stop this yourself).

5. Do we share your data with others? No, unless it's absolutely necessary. For example:

• For processing payments (with an external payment provider)

• For technical maintenance of our systems

• If we are legally required to do so (for example, by a court order)
